Virgin Group: Finding New Avenues for Growth

Virgin Group is an unusual organization. It seems to break all the rules about “related diversification.” It operates in an enormous range of seemingly unrelated sectors, from trains and planes to media and health care. The case examines Virgin’s growth strategy and in particular, the challenges of growth for an organization committed to a private ownership (family) capital structure.
